Fairy wing necklace, handmade rainbow spinel, yellow sapphire necklace-OOAK

This fairy wing pendant, I made with recycled fine silver. Hanging from a handmade chain of sparkling rainbow spinel and sunny yellow sapphires. The gemstones are wrapped with sterling silver wire. Dropped off the bottom of the fairy's wing is a mystic Imperial topaz briolette.
For the pendant, I drew the wing texture into a product called scratch foam, than pressed the precious metal clay into the texture. I then set the yellow sapphire, purple cubic zirconium and light blue spinel in the wing before firing.
After firing, I gave the silver a rainbow patina. the back side of the wing also features a floral texture.
The necklace is 18 inches long with a 1 inch extender chain that is finished with a handmade spiral swan hook clasp.
The fairy wing is 39.5mm x 20mm. The topaz drop adds another 13mm.
This necklace was entered into the Metal Clay Heads team challenge "Winged Flight".

A note on precious metal clay:
ArtClay silver is a recycled product that consists of fine silver particles suspended in an organic binder. The clay can be worked like other forms of clay, sculpted to almost any shape you desire. The product is then fired at an extremely high temperature, either by kiln or torch. The binder burns away resulting in a pure silver (.999) piece.
